Thanks to Ms. Brenda, Kristin loves school and is already practicing to be a teacher. Today her class consisted of a couple of Barbies and Bratz dolls. They read "Cars" and sang "Picky-Picky Bumble Bee" and at some point a Bratz doll got put in time out for hitting her friend who would not sit on the line with their legs crossed! Yes, my child is the future of Montessori education!!! Maria would be proud!

I love the change up in the blog! We have the same days at our house of playing teacher. Our problem is that I currently train teachers, so Anna thinks that in order to be a teacher you have to be trained by her mommy. So everyone we meet who says they are a teacher Anna will say "My mommy did not train you" In other words - you must not be a real teacher if my mommy did not train you. In trying to explain to her that I do not train every teacher in the world - it is a hopeless cause.
I do think it is so sweet that they play out good role models. Anna loves Miss Dena and plays her all the time. Miss Dena is - well... not the smallest of women. I have caught Anna stuffing her clothes to be Miss Dena. Funny I must say... she wants to be her loving teacher no matter the size. So sweet... these girls!!!
